Emily Bentley

Piano

Emily started studying piano at the age of 6 and has been playing ever since. After completing her degree in Piano Performance at Miami University, she moved to Cincinnati where she has collaborated with local schools, choirs, and soloists as well as working as a church pianist and organist.

Along with collaborative piano, Emily has a passion for music education and has been teaching piano for over a decade. She is an active member of the Music Teachers National Association and is continually furthering her education in piano pedagogy. Her students have ranged from toddlers to retirees, all with varying musical experience and goals. To reach those personal goals, lessons are individualized for each student to fit their unique learning styles.

Chaya Jones

Piano/Voice

Chaya Jones brings a lifelong love of music and a wide-ranging creative background to her teaching at The Music Salon. Her musical journey began at just three years old as a classical violinist, and over the years she has expanded her skills across multiple instruments while developing a deep understanding of music as both an art form and a means of self-expression.

In her early teens, Chaya discovered songwriting, music production, and performing—an experience that shaped her path and made it clear that music was not only her passion, but her calling. Since then, she has built an impressive and diverse resume, including writing for the Cincinnati Chamber Orchestra, working with the Cincinnati Opera, and writing and performing for the Country Music Association. She has opened for Grammy Award–winning artists such as Tank and the Bangas and has received multiple grants from ArtsWave.

While her accomplishments are notable, what truly defines Chaya as an educator is her belief in music as a safe, empowering space for expression, creativity, and growth. She values helping students connect emotionally to music while building strong fundamentals and confidence.

Chaya teaches voice, piano, and guitar, and welcomes students of all ages and experience levels. Whether a student is just beginning or looking to grow as a performer and musician, her lessons are supportive, engaging, and tailored to each individual’s goals.
